The Egyptian Museum began its activities in Brazil in 1996, as an itinerant event, circulating in almost every state of the country. In 2019, the Egyptian Museum became a permanent attraction in the city of Canela, RS, inaugurated on November 8. The collection consists of perfect replicas of the most famous works of ancient Egypt, produced by Egyptian visual artist

Visitors to the museum are immersed in an ambience that refers to ancient Egypt, with its imposing façade, the pyramid with the burial chamber, busts, sculptures, papyri, mummies, and everything that arouses the curiosity and fascination of adults and children.

The Canela Egyptian Museum has the largest collection in Latin America related to ancient Egypt. The museum's purpose is to reproduce a pharaonic environment with a current language, with several different spaces so that visitors and their families can learn and have fun, combining culture and leisure.
